DUBAI, UAE, July 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Red Rock Technology is pushing forward with a new infrastructure plan that ties together food independence, artificial intelligence, and self-running production systems. The company sees this as a way to meet both current needs and the future demands of the space economy.
Led by CEO Michele Fiscalini, the Dubai-based AI infrastructure firm is working on models designed to grow food in places where resources are tight. On Earth, that means areas hit by drought, poor soil, or supply chain problems. But the same technology is also meant to support closed-loop systems for future lunar bases and Martian settlements.
The approach focuses on autonomous systems that can manage planting, watering, harvesting, and nutrient recycling without constant human input. AI handles the decision-making, adjusting for changes in temperature, humidity, and power supply. The goal is to create a setup that can run reliably in extreme conditions, whether that is a desert on Earth or the vacuum of space.
Red Rock Technology argues that solving food production for space colonies forces innovation that also helps Earth. If a system can keep people fed on Mars, it can likely handle the toughest conditions on this planet. The company is now testing prototypes and looking for partners in both the space industry and agricultural sectors.
