On the final day of the SolarPACES Conference 2025, Cosin Solar made history by receiving the first-ever SolarPACES Implementation Award. This prestigious accolade was granted in recognition of the outstanding performance of the 50 MW Delingha Concentrated Solar Power plant. The plant has been celebrated for its long-term stable operation and effective implementation of concentrated solar technologies.
Since its inception in 2019, the Delingha plant has been a part of China’s initial wave of demonstration projects. It features an impressive 7 hours of thermal storage, allowing it to provide consistent and reliable energy even during periods of low sunlight.
