Xizhi Technology Completes A-Round Financing Exceeding 100 Million Yuan

Xizhi Technology Completes A-Round Financing Exceeding 100 Million Yuan

Xizhi Technology, a company focused on advanced manufacturing solutions, has closed its Series A financing round with total funds exceeding 100 million yuan. The round was led by a consortium of existing investors and new strategic partners, though specific names were not disclosed in the announcement. The company stated that the capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand its engineering team, and scale up production capacity to meet growing client demand.

Founded three years ago, Xizhi Technology specializes in precision components and smart sensing systems for industrial automation. The firm has seen steady growth in orders from the semiconductor and new energy sectors, which have driven the need for additional funding. According to the CEO, the company plans to use part of the funds to establish a second manufacturing facility in the Yangtze River Delta region by the end of next year. That facility will focus on high-mix, low-volume production runs, a segment the company believes is underserved.

The financing round comes at a time when investors are increasingly selective about industrial tech startups, favoring firms with clear revenue traction and a defined path to profitability. Xizhi Technology reported a threefold increase in annual revenue for the past fiscal year, though it did not share absolute figures. The company also said it has signed several long-term supply agreements with major equipment makers, which should provide a stable revenue base moving forward.

Looking ahead, Xizhi Technology intends to hire around 50 additional engineers, mainly in software and algorithm roles, to strengthen its data analytics capabilities for predictive maintenance. The management team emphasized that the new funds will not be used for marketing or brand building, but strictly for operational and technical expansion.
